Spring Bike Ride – 26/05/2024

Dear friends!

We are pleased to announce that today the first Bicycle Race of the Greek Society of St. Petersburg took place this year!

Participants traveled more than 24 kilometers from the “Akademicheskaya” metro station to Mount Parnassus in Shuvalovsky Park, but they were hardly tired, as the route was comfortable, the weather was warm, the views were beautiful, and, most importantly, the company was cheerful and lively!

Great appreciation goes to the organizer of the First Bicycle Race, Dmitry Fomichev, who proposed this wonderful sports and recreational idea, planned an interesting route, and gathered all the participants.

Special thanks to Alexander Danilov for the tour about the history of the Shuvalov noble family and their love for Greek culture.
